Wait wait wait....so I am supposed to like him because the NFL execs pay him? Plenty of ppl get paid, I dont have to like them. Tebow is a deebag, a horrible QB. I don't care how much limelight he gets, he sucks. HE SUCKS. He doesn't play. His money doesn't make me hate him. His sucking makes me hate him.

I don't necessary hate Tebow the person, but hate the hype surrounding him. He's a QB that can't throw!!! I also have this little bit of a problem with him being a "savior" that led Denver to the playoffs. His play was nothing to brag about, but the media wants to annoint him golden boy while the defense quietly did what was needed to make the poster boy a cult icon. My problem is that while most QB's in the league have to earn a name for themselves Tebow the QB that can't throw, becomes this fan favorite who has no right being where he is. Special player in college absolutely, NFL QB not by a long shot. At a different position I'd have no problem, but I wish the media would quite trying to push Tebow the QB down our throat.

So you're a Jets fan? Or you're jealous that he's in the NFL and you're not? Or you don't like the fact that millions of people love him while you have just 300 facebook friends?

Look, I am by no means a fan of Tebow (I used to say I hated him too), but is it his fault that NFL teams make a bad decision to pay him and have him on their team? Your hate is mis-directed, it should be going towards the Broncos or Jets. They were the ones that were dumb enough to sign him.

I never liked how he threw his faith all over the place, ya know.. gawd this gawd that, but I feel like he has simmered it down considerably and realized that not everybody is uber-religious like he. I understand you not liking him, but c'mon man, life it too short to be hating a guy you've never even met or gotten to know, and your and Scorp's posts in this thread absolutely reek of jealously and envy and it's kind of sad. Just let it go guys, let it go...

Not a Jets fan. There are what, 2000 ppl in the NFL? Am I to be jealous of all of them because they are in the NFL? I suppose to an extent that could be true, but I don't hate the rest of them, so it kinda loses its validity. I'm not on facebook.

Never said it's his fault he's in the NFL. I just said I hate him cuz he sucks. It's not misdirected. I know who I'm hating.

Tebow plays in the NFL and is a ****** QB. I'd hate you too if you were in the NFL and a ****** QB. It doesn't help that ppl try and tell me that he's a good QB. That does make me laugh, however.

I'm with you on that one. I honestly cannot understand how people can look you in the eye and try to convince you that he's a QB, let alone a good one. You can tell me anything you want until your blue in the face, but the fact is there is no way to be a good quarterback when you simply cannot throw. Can he scramble? Sure, but only because he can't throw and has no other options. The guy is an amazing play maker and athlete, but QB he is not.

He's a fraud and a grifter, and the unquestioning, uncritical love that he receives is horesesh!t. He and his family have worked their collective arses off to make sure Timmy RahRah is in the public eye, so that they can use him to push their scary hardcore evangelical christian agenda. He is a total construct; his image has been carefully created and maintained to serve a purpose, and football ain't the purpose. It's only a means to the end. Or perhaps you don't recall the sickening goddy anti-choice commercial that timmy and his mommy starred in, during the super bowl a couple of years back?

This made me pretty agreeable since I do side with a lot of it. That commercial especially made me want to vomit. I never said you guys had to like him, I just thought the hate was a little over-the-top, especially from Hawkeye11en1 (Tebow definitely did you wrong in some other way than just being a ****** QB, brah. I don't care what you say).
