Second, how exactly did the "fans" fire anyone?
I explained that in the post.
Third, which coach are you speaking of? The last coach who won 3 conference titles in a row was Mr. Davis.
1 conference and 2 division titles. I'll leave my mistake in the post so people can see it.
Nonsense. Nothing you say here is true.
That's weak. I'm rubber, you're glue? Is that what this is?
You know as well as anyone that no athletic department on the planet would fire a coach with Solich's record unless he was into some sort of scandal. None. And you also know that, like the rest of your non-working but still paid coaches, Solich was canned because of fans and boosters who couldn't bear not going undefeated and being national champs every year. Which is a fools game but is easily explained by your guys' love of mullets, Trans-Ams, cousins, and cutoff jerseys. Hell, he had a better win % than Devaney and Osborne in their own first six years. He also didn't give a woman beater rapist a pass so he could play in the Nat. title game, but that's a different story for a different day.
He never won a conference title.
Division titles. Again I still stand by my statement.
Your obsession with Nebraska is almost fascinating.
You are absolutely correct. I've listened to inbred Nebraskan mouth breeders go on and on and on about seasons that happened two decades ago for way too long. I am most definitely obsessed with your soft-ass team losing ball games and I will be until I hear a fan admit that your team is a shit salad now, and even how crappy old Iowa takes your best in-staters and hangs 40, 50+ on your Blackshirts (along with Oregon, Minnesota, Penn State, and Wisconsin...).
Side note, we did encourage one of your better in state kids to "throw the bones" last time he was in Lincoln as a sign of reverence. But did you guys show any appreciation? Hell no. Ungrateful bastards. One would think you'd give Howells, NE some love for the hometown kid.
You don't need to bother with the "Well at least we have something to reminisce about" spiel. That's like a little kid throwing a temper tantrum in Wal-Mart. We've heard it before and it's all you've got. And don't worry, Iowa's going to have plenty of mediocre seasons before I'm dead--you heard it here first. But one thing we won't do is go around jerking ourselves off about games from 25 years ago. Tell us again about the past and how much it matters.
