Scary Thought: Next Year's Team Will Be Significantly WORSE

Uhh Churlish - what are you basing your clueless, unsubstantiated claims on? How have the last 2 classes been "pretty solid?" How is recruiting "improving." Try using facts to support your kindergarten argument. The fact is, per rivals.com, last year's recruiting class was ranked 59th in the country, one of the lowest rankings not just in the conference but of any BCS team. Two years ago's classes was ranked 53rd, without a single 4 star or 5 star recruit. Recruiting has been awful. Prior to that, the classes were considerably better (3 years ago, when the old staff was around, the class was ranked 43rd and actually had 4 star recruits).

So again I ask, aside from being a homer, where do you see the improvement and "solid" classes?

Here's the list of all of the 4-star recruits from 3 years ago:
Faith Ekakitie - will probably step in next year as a starting DT. Has been getting playing time this year.
Greg Garmon - left Iowa, couldn't make it at JuCo. Now in jail.
Jaleel Johnson - another who will step in next year as a starting DT. Has been getting playing time this year.
Ryan Ward - offensive lineman who has played how much?

Note that Ekakitie and Johnson are playing behind 3-star Carl Davis and 3-star Louis Trinca-Pasat.

The info is easily obtained from the Rivals site. Has all the recruits from all years dating back to 2002.

The number of stars a recruit has doesn't mean that's how they will pan out. They don't show how much determination a player has. They don't show if a player can add to his frame. They don't show how much a player is willing to work in order to get what they want. It is only an indication of past success against the competition from high school.

Did anyone happen to notice the schedule this year and how many losses we have? It will never get easier than this year.

Has any one been paying attention for the last ten years of underachievement?

next year will be another mediocre boring 5+ loss season as will every year until things get changed.
