Saturday's performance has not gone unnoticed

Just heard from a source who has friends in the upper echelons of the OSU athletic department that OSU ain't happy with Fickell, but they noticed an offensive juggernaut in IC on Saturday. O'Keefe gives them everything they need, an older, stable coach who knows the Big Ten inside and out.

O'Keefe's demonstrated talents with players who were "a cut below" what OSU typically recruits has opened eyes in C-bus and I have a bad feeling we might be nearing the end of an era here, fellas.

Can't we just have one thread to put all of okeefe4prez's ramblings in? Just let him add to it and add to it. Would be so much nicer for this board.

The problem is not O'Keefe, its Ferentz. It has become quite apparent over the years that Ken would open the offense up a lot more when the studs are there to open it up. Until Ferentz said "go" in this last game, it was the same old offense. Ken at Ohio State would be a great hire for OSU, imo. I don't know that Ken would like to have all the media responsibilities that go with the job tho. How about them taking Kirk?

Guess what offense KOK ran before coming to Iowa? It wasn't the power I that KF wants ran, it was the spread.

Bash KOK all you want but when given the chance to call plays to sling it around like last Saturday and in 04 we can see how good of an offensive coordinator he really is.

I heard from a source in the upper echelons of John Carroll, that he might be able to play one more season for them. Some kind of granfathering in type of deal.....

I bet there's a 1% chance KOK would actually take a job offer from Ohio State. He's got job security. He could be here for another 15 years under Ferentz, but probably only make it one or two at OSU then jobless.

Actually I heard they were after Fitzgerald. They have enough bowl wins at OSU and don't care about them moving forward. It's about running a clean program and continuing to beat Iowa.

Man O4P you did it again....wow funny stuff. Cmon say somthing else funny I cant get enough of your cutting edge jokes.

+1 Mil.

IMO, some posters have a need to scapegoat KOK's playcalling to cover up Iowa's crap$y pass defense. IMO, some posters need to denigrate KOK's quarterback coaching ability even though he took an option QB in high school and turned him into a pro-style pro prospect - Stanzi.

Of course, these posters would never accuse the great Parker of doing anything wrong.

When you say the offense needs to produce more, you're also implying the defense is not so good. Saban of Alabama is another coach (not me, I mean Ferentz) that would think this way.
