Sandusky Interview

We'll rephrase: what's the over/under on how long Sandusky is breathing free air? After all this, I'd bet he either ends up in prison, or somebody will kill him.

Serious question--Can Sandusky get a fair and impartial jury in the state of Pennsylvania? I'm sure they'll move the trial out of Centre County, but I can't imagine 12 people in the whole state that won't have formed some sort of opinion on the case before it ever starts. How will they handle the jury selection for this case?

Can Sandusky? You mean can the prosecuting attorneys get a fair and impartial jury? It seems like everytime I turn around there is someone trying to cover this up.

I think it can be asked from both sides, but I think the question needs to be answered, are there 12 competent adults alive in the state of PA that haven't formed an opinion one way or another about this case?

I guess if OJ and Michael Jackson had juries, Sandusky can too, but I'm curious as to how this works.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. She was seventeen.

After he, as her lawyer, got her emancipated when she was still 16... and they got married just a few months after said emancipation.

Wanna bet he was just as touchy with her at 16 as Sandusky was with little boys?

I think they got married like 5 or 7 years after the emancipation in an article I read. Could be wrong, maybe that's when they got the divorce.

You just don't do it. Period.

Think about this, he was caught for showering with a boy in 1998 and questioned by both his mother and the cops. So lets say that he simply "made a mistake" in that instance, you would make damn sure that you would NEVER, EVER put yourself in that position again. But he did, repeatedly.

It is so gross and I feel so dirty that I feel like taking a shower.......

.......well maybe not......

Thunder what the hell was the purpose of his attorney allowing him to do a interview?

God, I don't know. I guess they made the calculation that Sandusky was being so decimated in the media that he had to say something on his own behalf to at least muddy the waters.

But that creepy f'n interview is gonna get played in a courtroom, I guarantee it.

Yet another reason why McCoward should have taken that kid out of there and went to the cops. I can just see the cross examination of McCoward, "So you saw what you thought was a child being raped and you just left him there? Why on Earth would you do that if that is truly what you saw? ANSWER THE QUESTION MR. McCOWARD!!!!"

Did anyone watch the whole thing?

I only saw some of it, but from what I did see I feel he basically admitted guilt. To begin with I thought he was caught showering with one young boy....BUT in the interview he said he should not have showered with those young BOYS.

No doubt in my mind he is a monster. He also said that Paterno never came to him about anything...

it's not a secret that he's been involved with showering with boys in more than one case. a janitor caught him in a shower with a boy as well.

also noticed on a tv scroll that the grad assistant McQueary says he DID stop the shower incident when he stumbled on it back in 2002. i'm sure he's taking a lot of heat from all quarters.

I think McQueary is just covering his @$$, so to speak. Why didn't he tell the grand jury that? THAT would have been the first thing I told anyone about it.

Does. Not. Compute.

I'm sure Sandusky stopped when he saw McQueary but my point is so what? You're right it doesn't make any sense. So he stops and then McCoward does what exactly? "Alright guys I'm outta here. Turn the lights off when you leave and lock up. Later."

Sandusky all but incriminates himself. His lawyer has his own thing for little kids.
Joe Paterno, along with son Scott, look like complete boobs.
And you wonder if McQueary is going to manage to perjure himself if he sends out any more e-mails.

Does anyone know what to listen for in order to tell when someone is lying after you have asked them a question? Here is a sampling of the transcript, just reading it you can tell he is lying.

Costas: Are you sexually attracted to young boys, to under age boys?

Sandusky: Am I sexually attracted to underage boys?

(There was a nearly two-second pause)

Sandusky: Sexually attracted, no, I, I enjoy young people. I, I love to be around them. I, I, but no I’m not sexually attracted to young boys.
