Sandusky Interview

I saw the interview this morning and thought the exact same thing.

"Are you sexually attracted to young boys?" should only have one answer, and he couldn't even say no. Sick, sick man. Lock him away for good. (and that is way too easy punishment. :()

Then, I saw them talk to the lawyer, and he was asked if all of these boys were lying and why they had similar stories. His answer was "you're a journalist, isn't that possible?" and that they have the same story because these types of crimes have a similar theme. Yup, I am sure a bunch of teens or twenty somethings all spent their individual time researching these types of crimes and all came to the same conclusion of what the story should sound like on their own.

Lucky for him his lawyer was able to locate the unidentified boy that McQueary saw being raped and that he says there was no rape. Right.

Why is Sandusky's lawyer letting him talk? If he is trying to win the court of public opinion I do not think it is working. In fact, it is making it worse if that interview doesn't convince you he is a creepy pedophile I don't know what will.

I did not hear the whole interview, but one question I did hear Costas ask was, "what happened in the shower?" That is not the question that should have been asked. The question should have been, "what in the hell were you doing in the Penn State locker room showers at 9:30 at night with a 10 year old boy??" Ummmm......"horsing around". Are you freakin kidding me?

Sandusky to me sounded like a guy who was trying to lie about his innocence. If you're truly innocent, you would sound like it. He sounded like a guy who was trying to not say the wrong thing. If your truly innocent you wouldn't have a problem sounding as such.

Another thing that caught my attention: If you are being accused of something that serious and you weren't guilty... You would show more emotion. You would have some anger and you would be more shocked by the questions being asked. You would be more direct when answering and would not restate the question and beat around the bush.

I would be livid and I would be in front of any camera I could find to state that these accusations were lies, with or without any lawyer.

Trying to pass off slapping sounds in a shower as towel snaps is absurd. I have never heard snapping towels sound like having sex.

That's why Sandusky had his lawyer present. No way would the question have been allowed in that tone using those words.

Setting up a defense strategy, which will consist mainly of attacks on the credibility of the victims before and during any court proceedings. Trashing of victims can be expected. A typical 'he said vs. he said' strategy, because there is no physical evidence.

And to make things more fun Sandusky's lawyer knocked up a 16 year old when he was 48.

You can't make this crap up!

How about the judge who let him off with a 100K unsecured bail? Turns out she was a pretty big donor to the Second Mile.

This is why the Feds need to get involved NOW. There is way to much cover up, people that know people, an icon to protect, a university to protect and I am not confident the State of Pennsylvania is capable of handling this themselves.

McQueary already testified under oath that he saw Sandusky having anal sex with the boy. It really doesn't matter what this sick freak says because McQueary knows what he saw and it wasn't snapping towels and horse play. Jerry, if you don't want to get caught you might not want to do it in public. Have fun in the prison showers. They like guys like you there.

Serious question--Can Sandusky get a fair and impartial jury in the state of Pennsylvania? I'm sure they'll move the trial out of Centre County, but I can't imagine 12 people in the whole state that won't have formed some sort of opinion on the case before it ever starts. How will they handle the jury selection for this case?
