Sandusky Interview

Did anyone watch the whole thing?

I only saw some of it, but from what I did see I feel he basically admitted guilt. To begin with I thought he was caught showering with one young boy....BUT in the interview he said he should not have showered with those young BOYS.

No doubt in my mind he is a monster. He also said that Paterno never came to him about anything...

Pretty much my take. The way he answered when asked if he was attracted to kids was all but and admittance to guilt.

I know right!!!

Him doing that interview was a huge mistake. If he was hoping to look not guilty...it failed!

he got all flustered...and second guessed if he was attracted to young boys...ugh..

I have to tip my hat to Costas. It would be hard to do an interview like that and keep your composure.

One might actually think he truly believes he's innocent... if not for the fact that he couldn't answer straight away whether he is sexually attracted to little boys.

And his lawyer and what came out about that piece of work this evening. Oh boy, these two are a match made in Hell, aren't they?

His very long pause and then restating the question before saying if he was attracted to children or not was all I needed to hear. And Paterno never even brought any of this up to him, according to Sandusky. And now supposedly McQueary stopped the shower incident while it was happening, if that is the case then his goose is cooked, because there is no way that he misconstrued horseplay as what he described to the grand jury.

My wife walked in and kind of listened to about half the interview, then she says to me " I really like Bob Costas, he really didn't let him get away with his half assed answers like most media members would, and he seemed to really be professional". I didn't expect to see Costas doing that interview, but he nailed it.

Last of a dying breed.

It's clear that he is going to try to dance between the rain drops in his defense. I know many don't want to hear this but if victims start coming forward claiming the allegations are false especially victim number 2 this case could start getting difficult to prove. Remember OJ

Everything was "just horsing around", since when is it ever ok to be horsing around naked with 10 year old boys in the shower?

It was very obvious that he is guilty. I tried to put aside all of the other information we know and have heard and just listen to what he had to say... And it was very clear that he was lying. The way he answered questions and his tone said it all.

The way he talked about it was almost too creepy to handle. I stopped watching.

Another thing that caught my attention: If you are being accused of something that serious and you weren't guilty... You would show more emotion. You would have some anger and you would be more shocked by the questions being asked. You would be more direct when answering and would not restate the question and beat around the bush.

The man is downright creepy and a monster. Before that interview I was 99% sure he was a guilty man... That interview gave me that last 1%.

The fact that he tried to even downplay showering with little boys and touched their legs and indulged in "horseplay"... Is sickening. You don't do that. No normal human being would do that and think it is ok. You are naked and partaking in "horseplay" with naked little boys and touching them while you shower? You think that is no big deal?

He might as well have come right out and said "I'm guilty. Lock me up and throw away the key."

His sense of calmness on the matter is scary. It's almost like he knows something that we don't... that he knows he is going to walk away from this a free man... It is disturbing.
