When he left Iowa, he had told the coaching staff that he was pretty much going to be a Hawkeye...then early last week, he had scheduled a visit with Hawaii, and at that time, as I had posted here on the boards, Iowa all but cut ties with him and began to look in a different direction

There was more to this than Hawaii being a beautiful destination. It sounds to me like their lax academic standards had more to do with it, as he doesn't have to attend summer school to get accepted there.

That's what I was thinking. Getting Coco would be a great way to finish out the year. He can run and has the experience we need, perfect.

Good.

At first it seemed perfect. He was already in the state of Iowa playing at a juco. He was one of the top 5 juco players in the country...I was ready for him to come in and make a difference next year.

When I saw those myspace pics a few days ago I was done with him. I don't know if he decided to go somewhere else or if we decided for him, but no matter how good he might be we don't need thugs like that.

Whoa...yeah, no kidding. Pretty glad that he didn't commit to the Hawks after seeing those.
