Salaries of Athletic directors

Usually the supervisors make more than the employee. I guess at ISU that is closer to how it is in the real world. At Iowa, not so much.

Do GMs make more than head coaches in the pros? AD's more than head coaches in college?

Wonder if that info is wrong on ISU... the news reported that Pollard had a salary of close to $500K and total bonus potential of $400K. Doesn't matter... ton of money for little sister. I do agree, $100K would be too much for the crap job Barta does.

Jamie hired two crappy coaches (McDermott and Cheeeezek) but didn't have to fire them and pay the buy out. He's atoned with his last two hires.

He's brought excitement to L'Ames in BB and FB. Barta has Fran going for him...just read this board if you want to know how FB is going.

This stuff is real important-like. Really.

Hawkeye Bob,
On a separate topic, I am visiting in Melbourne, FL, and was wondering if the Iowa Game Watches are still going strong at the Wing Shack at Conway in southeast Orlando? I'm thinking about taking the one hour drive up there this afternoon to watch the Iowa - Huskers game!
Thanks.

We don't do the b-ball watches there, not enough interest. Sadly, Wing Shack cancelled BTN for b-ball season since we don't go there. Problem is, with Eastern Time zone, too many night games. Wing Shack has live music at night, and it blows getting put in a corner with no sound and some half-a&&ed local band playing music badly.

Have you been to any watches there?
