Sadly, I think what is going to happen is Ferentz is working himself into removal

Ticket sales have been trending downwards the last two seasons but I agree there is still a lot of support. Kinnick isn't like Carver was when Lickliter was here. However, next season I feel might be pretty bad. The home schedule is very weak and apathy may be setting in.

To be honest, this is happening across all of NCAA football.
 
Empty seats will be the only thing that escalates the end of the Ferentz era. As long as Kinnick still pulls in 60,000 + a game Kirk will still be our coach. Next year is going to be a really hard sell but I am guessing many of the long time ticket holders will still be there. I gave my season tickets up last year. Couldn't justify the financial and time commitment any longer.
 
BF needs to find an nfl job in the off-season. If he does, you'll know Kirk has resigned himself to leaving soon. If he stays, he's not doing himself any favors.
