I'm not sure the NCAA has still officially approved the 10th coaching position yet. I may be wrong. Why wait until April for the 10th coach?

Plus Boyle (from what I've seen) has kind of a gunslinger attitude and a little big of swagger, which I like in a QB.
Yeah, and when Derby did actually change, he went to the NFL. Hopefully he sees the writing on the wall and makes the move soon or it might be too late.
At a tailgate last fall I remember some people talking about Boyle. They said he was moved from QB because the coaches wanted him to be one of the decoy's calling fake plays. They said Boyle thought he was better than that and refused and that is why he moved to receiver. Who knows if this is true, but makes for fun tailgate talk.Right. Just like he 'requested' to be switched to WR.
A one year and done doesn't lend itself to a conviction on Boyle's part to be a WR.At a tailgate last fall I remember some people talking about Boyle. It could be a sign that the coaches are sending a signal the QB position is wide open. Everybody will be given an equal chance to compete and win the QB job.
I am curious, mainly because I don't know much about any of the QB's, except that Stanley was the backup in 2016.
But I am curious what skills or traits does Stanley have that made him the backup in 2016 and makes him the favorite to start in 2017?
