RV Parking at Kinnick

HawkfromNorwalk - can you give me more insights on the Finkbine Golf Course tailgating? We almost always tailgate at Myrtle, but the cops are now making impossible to have fun tailgating there, so we are looking for other places to go. What time do they let you into the grass lot? Same question for the paved? Is it a good atmosphere? Thanks.

Agreed with what SR said. It's a fairly good tailgate spot. Probably not as rowdy as some places nearer the stadium but still has enough going on to have character. There isn't too much of a police presence there. They roll through on the cart maybe once or at the most twice and hour. Just hide any hard liquor out of sight and you won't ever have any problems.

Thanks for the info. We usually like to start tailgating between 5 and 6am, so the 7am lot opening is a bummer. We'll definitely put it under consideration. Thanks again.

As stated earlier, there is FREE RV parking at the Hawkeye Commuter Lot. RV parking exists in the Finkbine Commuter Lot, but it will cost you a $1000 I-Club donation and $30/game. RV parking is also available on the hard surface of the Finkbine Golf Course for $30/game.

We orignally parked the RV at the Finkbine Commuter Lot but moved to the Hawkeye Commuter Lot. Usually take advantage of the free shuttle to Carver Hawkeye but often walk back from the games.
