Rumor that our Assistant Coaches Were Soliciting Jobs?

Waiting until after signing day is as morally bankrupt as any SEC school could propose. Keep kids committed to coaches who are about to get axed until after the poor kids become contractually bound to the University, then boot the coach that they wanted to play for? And Ferentz is an "ethical man?" Benevetti calls b.s.

The fact is, any college coach worth his salt has already made a move if a move was to be made long before February. The time to hire was back in December. But then again, being late for the dance seems to be the mantra of this staff (see our offensive and defensive formations circa 1985).

I'd say the Benvenetti situation was handled as well as could be expected. And he did "open his recruitment" at one point. If he "stuck" with us because nothing better came along, and we don't see him in our plans, better to know now.
