former Iowa recruit,JP Tokoto, out of Wisconsin,is set to announce his commitment on Thursday to.....North Carolina over Wisconsin.

I know Iowa did not make the final cut for JP,and I am fine with Wisky not getting him,but I am so sick of Roy Williams treating Big Ten elite recruits as his own personal,well-stocked big fish pond. Raef LaFrentz,Nick Collison,Kirk Hinrich,Harrison Barnes,Marcus Paige and now Tokoto.

Hey, Roy...drop dead...really.

I'm fine with it. Frankly, I'm sick of looking at Wisconsin's roster and seeing all the guys Iowa lost out on during the recruiting wars.

I guess that I want the worm to turn,ie..for Iowa to go into North Carolina and beat Williams for a local player they really want...probably never happen, but I hate the current trend of midwest players going to the ACC and Big East over the Big Ten.

And yes, I am relieved if Wisconsin does not get him.

Roy is also trying to steal Wisconsin's best 2013 player PG Bronson Koenig. I bet he gets JP, and gets Koenig too.

Yep. The bigger vulture manages to wrestle the prey from the lesser vulture.

Not sure I understand this thread. So Roy Williams gets a kid from WI that we wern't in on, but people are po'd? I would rather see both kids go to NC over WI, as Bo has our number as it is. Ferentz gets a lot of kids out from under other coaches across the country....it's kind of how recruiting works.

Yes, and we can only hope for the day when Fran manages to at least slow down if not stop the outbound recruiting train of Iowa kids.
