Rotating DL

Re-watched some of the ISU game and realized just how much P.T. Daniels got during the ISU game, something I did not really see the first time. He actually started and Binns came in the second series, and after that it was pretty much rotating every other series. I think this is going to be needed in AZ on Sat...I think he had some good push at times.

Daniel also got a decent amount playing time. Its nice to have a 6-person d-line without much of a drop-off. We haven't had that ever under KF.

There is a real nice rotation with the D line. Very high quality guys on the field at all times. So far it has been easy to miss the roation because there has not been a lot of stats between the 3 and outs and long offensive drives.

The top teams have this kind of rotation. Best thing is that it will help tremendously with the transition next year. Alvis looked as good as advertised on his sack as well. Kind of had a Roth thing going.

This rotation is a great thing to see. In 05 we weren't doing it much and were gassed against Michigan late. We were putting no pressure on Henne at all in the 4th quarter and it cost us.
Against LSU in the Cap One we also had no rotation, the guys were exhausted and getting no push as LSU drove for their final score. Those lines had great players but appeared to be too tired to generate pass rush late.
A rotation can really make a difference in the 4th quarter.
