Ron Sanyo in the HOF. **** yes.

I'm happy to see it, but I find it sad that it took Santo's death to get him some votes.

I forget the exact percentages, but he got 45% of the vote (give or take) last time, and this time almost 94%.

Ron Santo should have been in the HOF a long time ago.

It's about goddamn time. It still pizzes me off that he didn't get this honor while he was still alive. No one would have enjoyed it more than him.

How did Ron Sanyo, electronics entrepreneur, make it into the baseball hall of fame?

On a side note, death should not be a reason to change your vote. If he is good enough in death, he was good enough when he could have enjoyed the recognition.

blame auto correct, seriously.

No, since seeing that picture of you fondling a dead deer's rack, I now know that your constant post errors are due to your fat sausage fingers.

LOL awesome

The big Cubbie in the sky is smiling.

His family will rejoice in this honor.

I'm happy for him and his family and all Cubs fans.

I feel the karma changing for the Cubs - first Epstein, and now this -

Screw the hall and all those who vote for it....total BS that he didn't get in while he was alive...and now after he died they about fell all over themselves to put him in. 94% of the vote now...you're all disgraceful. Would have loved nothing more than to be honored while he was alive. And what a great ambassador for baseball....unbelievable...glad it happened...but ridiculous that it took his death.

They don't like to give deserving people the nod until they're dead. Same thing happened to Buck O'Neil.

I hate the HOF.

I may be wrong, but I think he was voted in by a different committee than before. Previous it was the Veteran's Committee, which a couple members were very vocal about why they left certain players out. I believe Santo was voted in this time by the Golden Era Committee?

Congratulat10ns Ron!!
