Well whats sad is Ferentz has sent guys to the NFL but Rhoads has had around 1 less win them him while only getting 1 guy drafted over the past 2 seasons. So I guess the question is who is the better coach the guy that can win more with less or win less with more?

He stated the whole NFL thing and I just bring back wins and losses. I guess you have to decide what is more important being an NFL farm system or finishing better than 7-5. So done with my soap box.

1. When was the last time ISU was better than 7-5? Iowa?

2. If I have choices between Iowa and ISU and my options are maybe 7-5 at either school, and one has higher likelihood of NFL, I go NFL.

Now I have defended ISU a lot on this board, but a lot of the complaining from some, mostly ISUer, is dumb and pointless.

I mean to date, this guys biggest impact to college football has been not qualifying for school.

So the comparison is faulty here..

Iowa State doesn't have a decision in the matter. They don't finish EVEN 7-5.. and don't produce NFL talent..

You'd kill orphans to have what Iowa has.. and we all know it.

After 3 seasons on the job who has the better record Rhoads or Ferentz? I would say talent would have favored Rhoads a little opposed to when Ferentz took over.

What the hell are you even talking about?

Ferentz has had 26 wins since 2009.

Rhoads has had 18 wins since 2009.

Ferentz has won 67% of the games he has coached against Rhoads.

I think KF is holding his own against Rhoads.
