Robinson's Being Discovered/Recruitment

Last week post game Kirk said something to the affect that the "discovered" Adam when they were in DSM looking at another player. Anybody have any idea who that other player may have been? I know Robinson is a Lincoln guy, but I don't think this other player played at Lincoln.

BTW- Kirk said it was Coach K that saw Adam and thought he looked like a pretty good RB.

It could have been Jordan Bernstine or LJ Gamblin. Looking at Lincoln's schedule from 2006 and 2007, I'm not sure what D1-caliber players they played against either of those years, but those two were Robinson's teammates.

IIRC, Robinson was more highly thought of as a CB prospect when he was at Lincoln. I never really heard anything about him being a RB until early last year.

You're thinking of JB. JB was a heckuva RB in high school, but Iowa thought be's be a good DB in college. Robinson was always recruited as a RB.
