Rob, what do you know about Friday's Scrimmage?

After the Kid's Day Practice, KF mentioned that a few positional races would come into more focus after Friday's closed (to the public) scrimmage. Do you know if there is any media allowed at this shindig? Will the coaches be available for interviews after? Is this essentially the end of preseason camp, with the team transitioning to their fall semester schedule next week?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, there is no media or public access or interviews following the scrimmage. If someone is up for a covert operation, we might be able to convince Jon to make it worth your while. I'd do it but they know what I look like. ;)

I know a guy from my church who lives in Douglasville, Georgia who looks like Kirk's twin brother. My kids and I used to call him COACH whenever we would run into him at church or in the community some where. One day he finally asked why we call him that and we told him why. He googled Kirk's name and then started to laugh when he saw what Kirk looks like. He told us, "Dang I do look a lot like Iowa's head coach."

I bet he could have gotten in there for the practice and got some videos. Lol

If you're old enough to remember the show Get Smart, you'll remember the cone of silence.

I could see a photoshop of Kinnick stadium under the glass.

I'm old enough to remember watching re-runs

Bob Sanders actually lost a couple of inches in height since his days at Iowa. The average NFL player retires an inch shorter, but Bob and all the spine and back pain from his hits became two inches shorter, maybe more.
