ring around the moon

A ring around the moon means rain. The closer to the moon the ring is the sooner it will rain. This is accurate about 90% of the time.
 
This has shown up for the last couple of nights and doesn't look like the normal rings that appear because of frozen vapor. It is a weird sight.
 
I'm seeing the phenomenon in WCI... Not very impressive really. Clouds are too broken to look decent.....
 
I noticed it last night in Florida. Looks like a light blue ring. It was gone when I check an hour later.
 
Now I'm seeing it here. Looks like refracted ice particles to me.

You don't have to worry about the end of the world until the moon turns blood red.
