Rick Stanzi Q&A: Real American Hero

Great interview. Gotta love that kid. I can't wait to see what he accomplishes this year and I'll still go on record predicting that in the end, he'll make more money in the NFL than Tim Tebow. Call me crazy.

That will be tough, unless he is 10 year vet. I doubt he works his way up to first round signing money...and then its going to be in his second contract, which means he would have to get on the field in the first five years and have a lot of success, with the head start Tebow has with his signing bonus.

In all honesty Ricky reminds me alot of a young Tom Brady...a little less refined of course...but as DJ Khaled says...All he does is win. He's got that "factor" that Brady seems to have. IF he cuts down on his interceptions...he could very be a VERY good NFL player...he has the size and throws a great ball.

I wanted to post this last year, but had issue logging in.. This pretty much says it all.

Stanzi's "factor" is a really good defense that keeps Iowa in the game while he gets all his interceptions out of the way. I think he'll be a career backup in the NFL, if anything. He doesn't have the arm strength to become an elite NFL QB.

Great interview, Jon!

That interview with Chris Myers is the one of the greatest table turners I have ever seen. That was the best! Those photoshops of the Stanzi Americanzi crack me up, too.

Ricky is already on the cusp of being my all time favorite hawkeye, right up there with dwight, sanders and pat...i figure with another winning season and the possibility of a rose bowl run hes gonna make a lot of other hawk fans feel the same way; btw that clayborne guy isnt bad either
what a great time to be a hawkeye

Wow Tom Brady? I always love when people throw out comparisons. :D
