Why does that change anything other then Barta having to say that all of the rumors are false like Haddy said yesterday. Not to mention wasn't it just a little over 24 hours ago that Lick was resigning due to health reasons? Witch Lick basically said after the game wasn't going to happen.

How many times has someone in the media been wrong about something they reported? Hell look at all the crap that was flying around about who the next B-ball coach was going to be when Lick was hired, nobody had it right then.

If these rumors are "true" or not they did some serious damage to this program. You don't think other coaches will use this against Lick on the recruiting trail next fall or this summer? If Lick is back he will have to show the improvement and prove these rumors were false next year and that alone is going to kill the next recruiting class because people won't know if he is coming back for a 5th year unless Iowa improves greatly which people will only know after the signing period. As another thread pointed out, if he comes back he is basically a lame duck coach for at least 1 year.

Duffman I was really shaking my head and wondering why the hell I was continuing to waste my time reading this thread until your post! The slave Leia pillow fight was an oasis in the desert of what started out to be an interesting thread but turned to sh*t in a hurry.

I agree with this

Which ticks me off that I am the only name some Miller haters at other sites recall re: reporting that Jake Kelly wanted to come back to Iowa. Rick cited unamed sources at Indiana State and Iowa in his blog post that day ;).
 
Wow. Can't be gone for even three hours otherwise some grown men will act like third graders. Since that is how a few are acting that is how a few will get treated. Once daddy gets to a computer here in a bit it will be time out time.

I think Rick does a phenomenal job, but it doesn't mean he's not wrong here. Esp on the Fuller side of things. Fuller wasn't involved.

Ok - now that is really funny considering the article that was in todays DI regarding Lickliter. Did anyone else read that? The author seemed to be pretty much just quoting rumors right off this board and then saying that -sources say - or something like that.

In that whole interview - and I listened to the whole thing - there was never any instance where he said that Gatens and Fuller were "done with Lick."

Get your facts straight.

Your assertion Stormin is that Fuller was not involved...

Which reading between the lines says to me, at the very least the story is right and the names are wrong.

I think that's fair Stormin...

But I think that you should clarify your position, because it's come across as though you don't believe that any of it has actually happened, when in fact what you're saying now is that it did happen but people have the cast of characters wrong.
