Can’t believe you didn’t even mention “Leave it to Beaver.” That clown on doctor max used to give me a bad feeling. Wasn’t his name Mombo or something like that.

Probably didn't discover that show for a couple more years, but it was definite in after school syndication for a long time, as were Gilligan's Island and Batman.

Can’t resist. When Beaver was a toddler, his real dad was the head football coach in Rock Rapids, Iowa, my home town. In recent years, Beaver came to RR to appear at a summer festival. My old HS English teacher, Ken Barker, talked him into attending.
