What?? C'mon drummer. First, Ferentz has no control over Reese while he's still in high school. Second, Nico Law provided a lot of details on twitter last season. Did you have a problem with that too?

Not sure that's showboating. It looks like the stadium setup is the same as Bettendorf. We had players run through the endzone after TD's and toss the football to kids that were standing around the track.

Without knowing more about the situation, it appeared that he was running through the endzone a little too much. Also, it looked like he got called for taunting/excessive celebration at least twice. I guess I don't really know the situation very well, but he appeared to be hot dogging after plays were done just a little bit; however, I didn't see him taking plays off at all.

But, since others aren't seeing it, I'm probably being a little too sensitive in this case.

To be fair, there were at least 100 clips! 2% isnt bad
 
1. Hes very fast and has good hands when catching.
2. That's not show boating. Being 18 myself, I personally know he could do way more celebrating than he did.
 
He looks bigger than 190, but that might be a little distorted depending on the competition.

If Iowa hasn't offered, makes you wonder if they've got someone they like even better... or just waiting to see if everything is in order - character, academics and such.

makes you wonder if someone important asked him to tone it down a bit. not necessarily a coach though.
 
no I think it means he reads the boards and what insecure Iowa fans tweet back to him. Like he said he is only 17, I don't mind a little showboating or personality as long as the drive, hard work, and respect for the coaches and teammates comes along with it.
 
Scares me that recruits are visiting and now responding to these boards. As long as they realize for the most part were all full of **** and talk out our arses I think they'll be ok.
 
Great news Jon. Have to think this makes us the favorite to land him. The more Chicago guys the better. You never know Fleming can keep working on Diamond and Gregory.
 
247 recruiting has also confirmed David Smith offer.
Also on 247 they saying Iowa in final four for Malik Golden, Ath. 6'1" 185 4.52 speed.
The other three are BC, Conn, and Penn St.
 
Alright, so we're in on Smith, Garmon, and T. Coleman(did his visit have anything to do with the Smith offer?). Like to get at least one, and hopefully, two. These guys can probably play multiple positions.

I'd say Iowa is on the outside looking in on Golden (literally). Battling 3 local (closer) schools like that is gonna be almost impossible. Sounds like Penn St. for him

One thing going for us. Iowa was the first BCS school to offer Golden. After that other BCS schools started to take notice. Hopefully he'll want to get away from home.

Could be. OR...it could be that since we're the only school that's not in his backyard, there's a good reason we're on his list. Call me the foolish optimist.
