Recruits and parents read this site

I recently watched the Pitt game too. I'm very comfortable saying we don't win with Rudock. I swear the people who freak out when someone says our record would have been better two years ago with CJ playing must have never watched a game that year.
You people are like a bad penny. Good grief. There is no way of knowing the outcome to something that didn't happen. To say otherwise or even speculate is delusional at best. You have no idea how CJ would have performed 2 years ago or if he was even 'ready'. If Rudock would have played last year, he would not have thrown the near pick six (that led to a short TD) and the punt would not have been blocked for a TD, so the game would not have been as close......see what I did there? See how ridiculous your 'thinking' is. I have no idea what the point of bringing this up constantly is...only 'losers' think this way...........'what-ifs' and 'could have beens' are for the 'never were's'...............And just think what we could have done if Sokol was The QB 2 years ago, as he was clearly the best QB in the spring game. And just think what would have happened if Q Alston would have had 4 arms and 2 heads and spit acid.....OK, move along now little children, time to grow up................

There is no way to know for sure that Green Bay would be worse without Aaron Rogers, but anyone with any common sense in their heads can reasonably assume it.

In the last week, I've watched the Pitt game and the Illinois game. I had forgotten how bad our offense even was without CJ's playmaking ability. Plug in a quarterback who rarely made any plays off schedule and it's very clear what would have happened. Even the announcers in the Illinois game were talking about it. They kept showing a stat where CJ ran 5 times for 5 first downs in the Wisconsin game.

When you have a QB who makes plays, you have a better team. CJ makes plays. Rudock didn't make plays. My grandma can connect those dots.

What ifs are as much a part of sports as booing the refs. It's pretty impossible to not think about the what ifs when it comes to our teams and the out comes of games. Example, If Iowa struggles in the passing game this year and nobody emerges as a deep threat how many of us will be thinking what if Willies wouldn't have left? But of course if someone does and Iowa plays well that'll never be thought of... It's sports it is what it is.

Concerning your grandmas great insight...There were actually connect the dots pictures in those days. She had years of practice to perfect it. I don't know of an app that has "connect the dots for idiots". The fact that you suggest the "connect the dots" reveals a lot about your age.:D

...cough....cough. Who knows if recruits roam here.

On a side note, I work in downtown Iowa City in the middle of campus. There must be a 4-1 ratio of girls to boys around here, and all hot girls. On my way in to work thru downtown, I on a daily basis tabulate the number of hot girls that if not married, I would bed. This morning I got to 26 before walking into work. In addition, it's sunny and 82 like it always is in Iowa City.

Do recruits read this site. Who knows!
lol You forgot to mention the numerous free beer and hot dog stands around town though.

That's what I was getting at, but there are NOT a lot of hot dogs. As I mentioned the ratio is something like 4:1. There is enough beer around there, though. I've never been bitten by a Mosquito in Iowa City, never been robbed, never attacked by a pit bull. We did have that bad flood once, but hell, that is only once every 500 years, and, they are raising Dubuque street now. Iowa City is a great place. Right Oliver Martin?

You just as well give it up, he ain't here reading this thread. If he was, he would know that if he went somewhere else he would be remembered as that receiver who was pretty damn good for a white guy. But if he goes to iowa, he will be remembered as a fucking legend and he will never have to buy a beer inside the state boarders for the rest of his life.
