I have a hard time seeing iowa as 41st - ya, we aren't texas with high school recruits, but Iowa State isn't even a good team to come in and take many people from us. (would love to see a chart showing how many of ISU players we offered scholarships to vs how many of our they offerd?).
We have a great NFL track record - I am assuming close to top 10 of all colleges - especially if you are a line man.

According to this NCAA web page, Iowa sits at number 22. The Hawks are tied for 2nd in the offensive line category with 7, one behind Alabama.
I was a little surprised at this. I had heard somewhere that Iowa was in the top 5 overall. That may have been a set period time, I don't know. Still, not bad and should be exploited.
