Really BTN?

I just watched a highlight mix of the game that the BTN put out on Twitter. Really sad. You'd have thought OSU won the game. Started with a couple Iowa highlights, then just about the next 3 minutes were OSU highlights. I guess it shouldn't surprise me, but it did. Anyway, good job Hawks! And if anyone finds a good highlight video, let me know.

Meat, no different on CBS w/Clark Kellogg.....I understand him being an OSU All-American, but really....that's pretty weak sauce...

The Big Ten Network isn't as good as it should be. They really do a poor job outside of covering football games. Their shows are terrible and their basketball coverage is criminal in the pre-season.

It's a half assed network.

Agree, with the exception of The Journey (especially the basketball version). That show is great.

I thought Kellogg was pretty good. Sure, he drooled over Craft, but so does the other 99% of the media who AREN'T OSU All-American alums. He had quite a bit of good things to say about Iowa.

I like watching Big 10 games so I can live with biased announcers, etc. I just want to see a random Big 10 game over a random game in another conference...meaning I wouldn't watch a NW over Illinois type win from another conference.

The CBS coverage was great. Kellogg drooled all over Iowa, saying they had the talent to make a deep run in the tourney. Seth Davis also heaped on the praise.

I don't know what you dudes are smoking, but I want some of it. You sound like Iowa State fans.

Davis was all over Iowa's jock, both on set and on Twitter. Vitale also pumped us up. I agree with what Jon said in his write up, that a big chunk of the media has just been waiting for Iowa to get a win like this. The sky's the limit now.

I still remember Kellogg (edit not Kellogg, Hopson sorry) handing Iowa one of their first losses in that 87 season. Dang him.
I am glad we stuck an arrow in the Bucks and twisted today. If only Herbstreit would have been doing the game with Kellogg.....

Kellogg did say something about how Craft always has his hands on the offensive player and that's more than a lot of announcers will do. Because of that, I'm cool with Kellogg (actually, I've always liked him)

It's actually kind of weird that Kellogg and Herbstreit are pretty good at hiding their biased views when they both came from OSU who has pretty much the worst fanbase in sports.

I told people that these turn on a dime media people that bad mouthed us last year would act like our best friend and jump on the bandwagon. Still The cbs coverage was biased for osu always showing sideline clips of Matta. I think the only camera shots you saw of Fran was the post game interview.

Because it's not how much the announcers gush over you, it's how many sideline shots of your coach that matters.

I found that odd, especially since one of the biggers stories on the national level was Fran getting suspended. I expected the camera's to find Fran on every one of his little outbursts.

Funny how that story now seems to be forgotten now that they have won a big game.
