Ready for 10 conference games to balance the schedule?

Two, we get to dump ISU at least a lot of the time and get into some good home games with Colorado St, some ACC and SEC teams that usually load up their home schedules but might want to have a road game out of their state. Is Notre Dame looking for an away game, Texas A&M, who knows, some team who is loaded up with home games but needs to fill out a saturday on the road.

And three, Big 10 games are just great, they have such a big feel to them, especially when you go back like me to the hawks playing these big rivalries for so many years that matter in the standings. Like I always say I would rather take any and all decent to big wins in the conference to beating ISU.

Who else is up for 10 conf games and what are your reasons?

ISU may get dumped in that scenario, but we sure as hell would not be adding anyone at a higher level than them. We'd be keeping the UNI's and the Ball States of the world and would never add anyone beyond that on the schedule. How clear can they be with this? You can dream yes, but Elon Musk will have people on Mars before this happens here on Earth.

I would love to see the Texas A&M band in Kinnick if they might bring them and then the next year the hawks play in Texas. So cool and a better probability chance for the hawks to make a statement early in the season with a win.

I didnt say I would rather watch the band than the game, I just think it is way cooler to have new opponents come into kinnick and then for an away game than the same old ISU game.

sure, every BIG school will have 2 losses and never goto Playoff. Meanwhile, EVERY $EC team will continue to play 33% of it's games again Florida A & M, and continue to have 2 teams in every Playoff.

To me, the ISU game has the Big Ten level intensity from the teams and fans. Maybe no one wants to admit that but it is true. higher energy level than when we play Purdue, Indiana, etc. In my opinion it is a good prep game for heading into Big Ten play. The one in Kinnick in 2016 maybe not so much as that was a blowout from the get go.

Yes, that is true and I see that part of the argument. But you dont think playing Texas or Texas A&M in Kinnick then in Texas would not be high intensity. Those are top teams usually.
