Randy Moss is One Class Act!

Not really reason to cut him, IMO. That's par for the course with Moss, always has been. They had to know what they were getting into when they brought him in. Seems pretty stupid to give up a 3rd round pick only to let him go for being the guy he's always been.

Frankly, I'm happy they cut him. Seems like too many teams in every sport put up with this sort of behavior because somebody makes a lot of money or they had to give up a lot to get him. Screw that. The only place I want Moss to wind up is Washington so he can get benched with Haynesworth. Either that or someplace where we'd never hear his name again like Buffalo or Carolina.

He was obviously not raised right. Don't know why people put up with that, but after watching election results, I'm starting to believe everything. Vikings will be much better without him, and heaven help whomever picks him up... but I'm guessing it will be the Chiefs. Or the Pats. Or the Chargers. Or the Jets. Or the...

Great, so my fantasy team just took a dump because the Vikings organization can't put together a decent buffet line.

Childress won't make it past this year. Players can't believe what he says, and the Vikes are 2-5. He's going to lose all control over the team before the year is over at this rate.

The only reason he's still the head coach at all is due to Favre.

Oddly enough, Favre will be a big reason why he gets canned, as well. Players on the team haven't exactly been inspired by Favre's absence from preseason camps. Same story, 3rd different team.

Agreed. I don't think he has much credibility or back-bone up there. When a coach cannot stand up to Brett Favre & bench him when he thinks he needs to, it just shows he doesn't have a spine, & in this day & age, with the way the players are, they hop all over that.

You have players dictating like Favre & holding the team hostage at the beginning of the season then having players like Moss (who has been there less than a month) running rampant. Total loss of control. Not good!!

While I think Childress is in his last season w/ the Vikings, I think his decision to end the Moss experiment after Sunday night was a step in taking back control of the team. Maybe too little too late, but I seriously do not understand why fans are upset over Moss being canned. It was the best decision Childress could have made for the team at the time.

The guy in your avatar is a bigger POS. Moss may have his flaws in dealing with people, but he has never been accused of rape.

Not saying Moss is a saint by any means. Just found it ironic that the guy with Kobe in his avatar is calling out Moss for his behavior.

You are an idiot. Being accused of something, and actually doing something are two different things. Kobe has one blemish on his entire career, and it was an accusation. Moss has found trouble every step of the way.

And on the actual court/field, it is a joke to even try to compare the two.

Moving on though... Anyone seen this?:

I may have jumped the gun on saying Kobe was a worse teammate/person than Moss. Just bitter that they wasted a 3rd Round pick on 4 games with Randy Moss.

I would argue that Kobe has more than one blemish. Either giving up in the seires against Phoenix a few years back or getting busted calling out Bynum come to mind as two more. Would I take him on my team? Absolutely.
