QB for Wisconsin game.

I am tempted to say Brown should be given the start for the Wisconsin game. He has probably been practicing with the 1st team for a week at this point, maybe two weeks by game time. It's about as good of a time to find out where Brown is in development.

If Gronowski's knee isn't 100%, why chance it and not have him later.

We should know a lot more on this after the press conference later this morning. If Gronowski starts he will have the brace back on (and probably for the remainder of the season).

I guess I'm 50/50 on my preference of who should get the start. Wouldn't mind seeing what Hank Brown can do but also want Gronowski out there because he gives us the best chance to win, even at less than 100%.

Also, Wisky is going to be really trying to get this win, as they are looking at it as their best chance to get a quality win the rest of the season and it's a rival game at home.

I have a friend who is a huge Auburn fan. I asked him his opinion of Brown. His answer: "He might do well in the MAC."

I'd rather see Hecklinski start if Grono cannot.

Of course, that is not what Ferentz will do. He'll dumb the offense down, go conservative with Brown, and hope the Defense holds.

Year, after year, after year. Same old Kirk. Trying to get to 8 wins.

This team is 6 wins, best case, without Grono, because the Defense won't hold up.

If Grono plays in every game the rest of the year, I think we have a shot at 8 wins. A shot.

You cannot overstate the importance of the QB in college football right now. Look what Iowa State has been able to do with superior QB play and an average defense.
