Why does Iowa not have a QB coach like most major programs. The only position that KF has not put a player into the NFL is QB maybe theirs something to that?

He personally mentored Tom Brady, and has also worked with the Manning brothers, Aaron Rodgers, and Mark Sanchez. It would be a huge get to hire him.

this subject has been discussed ad nauseum here and on other sites.

Auburn's offensive coordinator, Gus Malsahn, is both o-coordinator and QB coach. Seems that they did pretty well with their QB this year. Oregon has no one even assigned with the title of QB coach. They just have an offensive coordinator. Oklahoma has co-offensive coordinator Josh Heupel who also has the title of Quarterbacks.

If we haven't put a QB in the NFL, it's not because we don't have a QB coach. Colleges have limits on how many assistants you can have, unlike the NFL, so rare is the program that chooses to dedicate a coach to just quarterbacks. We haven't put a QB in the NFL because none of the QB's have been good enough to play in the NFL under Ferentz. If Stanzi is drafted this spring and makes an NFL roster, does that mean that O'Keefe suddenly became a good coach?

Obviously, the OP is either trying to be funny or he is clueless when it comes to football. He probably is just trolling.

McDaniels was the quarterback coach for the Patriots and succeeded Charlie Weis as offensive coordinator. He was the head coach of the Broncos the last two seasons & was fired in early December.

Yeah, he is going to come to Iowa for about one-tenth what he made as an NFL head coach. The Broncos were paying him two million a year.
