Good thing Collins absolutely outclassed Painter, or else that could've gone to a 3rd OT and Collins would have had to suit up his grad assistants or play 3 on 5. I'm not sure I like how great Collins could be at jNW.

I have been impressed with Collins as well. It would have been easy to pack it in this year but I have seen him make adjustments in his coaching style and he is getting every ounce of ability out of this team.

I don't think it will happen that fast but I didn't think they would win 3 conference games all season and they've done it in 7 games so what do I know. I don't think Collins will be around long enough...just a guess.

NW has won 3 of 4 after getting annihilated their first 3 games in conf. The one loss was to MSU in a decent game. Showing improvement.

Agree. Getting the most out of what you've got is about all anyone can ask of a new coach IMO.
