The lineup would not work no matter how long you played them together. Its stupid to argue over because we will never see that lineup.
I saw Fran getting on McCabe's case after allowing rebound points in yesterday's game. The thing is, McCabe is not a 'good' rebounder or shot blocker. (I'm not gonna call that stupid..)
The only 'good' rebounders and shot blockers Iowa have are usually sitting on the bench (Olasani, Archie, and Bromert). Now, if Iowa is playing an outside shooting team, like, for example, Michigan, one shouldn't care as much about rebounds or interior defense. On the other hand, Purdue, with their bread and butter being rebounding and interior offense,(and defense), IMO, forces Iowa's 'bench sitters' to play more at some point(s) - or Iowa loses.
Iowa lost yesterday because of their inability to get rebounds and clog up Purdue's middle on offense.
