Iowa should win this game but not sure I like them to cover the spread..

Barring something major happening this week, Iowa will be a favorite against NW. Likely open in the 3-6 points range in favor of Iowa.

Currently, Sagarin shows Iowa as a 13 point favorite on a neutral field for NW. NW is the home team so Iowa should be favored by 10. I bet that will be pretty close to the Vegas line. If Vegas sees a match-up issue it could swing, either way.

Purdue is banged up so I'm thinking we right the ship and 31 to 17 seems about where we end up. Ya 31 to 17 Hawks and the line plays better....I mean how could they be any worse. Go Hawks

I was surprised by that trivia question in the telecast that Purdue has the most wins of any team in Kinnick Stadium. Purdue in the 60 and 70s owned a 20 game winning streak against Iowa.

Including Hayden's first two seasons. And frankly, the bitch-slapping they gave us in 1980 was almost frightening. They won 58-13, but it could have easily been transposed to "85" instead of "58".
