why do so many people rag on Cougs. The guy was just a freshman. Most big men are not great as freshman. If they are they go pro. Give the guy a break.

Millen would have taken lil lick first. Seriously, Gatens is great in PTL,has been for years,and led us in scoring last year. Good pick.

Khirey Floyd, Iowa - I have read that he is either walking on or wants to walk on for Iowa, but have not seen anything mentioned on this or other threads. I might have missed it, but besides the fact that he attended Riverland CC the last two years, he played high school at Oak Park River, IL, and that he is a guard playing on the PTL...I have not heard much about him...anyone else?

It just seems that whenever I look over, Basabe is finishing with a dunk or some other explosive move around the hoop.

I like the sounds of that a lot.

Defend Cougs all you want and he will add some value in certain situations but very disappointed that the kid hasn't gotten in shape since the end of last season.

Any way you cut it, his weight problem will minimize his effectiveness.
