I kind of like this as I think it will allow for less familiarity between the schools. Which I think in this series benefits Iowa.

Here's a link that describes the 2012 league. The explanation for the UNI players not participating was due to a change in NCAA legislation. At least, this is from Randy Larsen's point of view.

It's better for Iowa players to scrimmage themselves and former Iowa players in the practice facility than it is to play in the PTL as it stands. IMO

Seems like UNI started playing us better after participating in the PTL.....

Word on the streets is that he stole a car and used it to move 14.85 miles closer to home.

No. He applied for a job "to help get in mid-season form right out of the gate" but was rejected when PTL officials came to the conclusion that 2 and a half hour games were not going to benefit the league, the players or the fans. Mr. Hightower was actually relieved to hear the news because he was informed (after turning in his application) that PTL games are not televised nationally or on the BTN, giving him no audience for his "totally awesome awesomeness".
