Based on the last two games I question whether Iowa defense is a one seed caliber defense. However jok and uthoff together is probably the best offensive combo in the country outside of Jamal Murray and ullis at Kentucky and hield and Woodard at Oklahoma.

I take it all back! This is crazy talk, Iowa has a good of a shot at being a #1 seed as anybody. You know Minnesota does have D1 athletes, they came into Carver gunning for us just like everybody else. This game gives Fran something to keep on the team about, good practice material. You never want a team to have a mindset that they don't need to keep working, keep improving. Having these close games now will help them in March.

If iowa isn't a 1 seed they are a 2 seeds. 2 seeds never win the tournament and definitely deserve the pretender label.
