The legendary win against #2 Michigan is in the books. The bowl bid is secure. We're not going to win the West. Let's come out and play loose but with great intensity and blow the doors off of Illinois. This team played with reckless abandon against Michigan, with a nothing to lose mentality. There is no reason not to do it again against Illinois.
 
I didn't know until I looked today that we are dead last in total offense. Yes folks, Rutgers, Michigan State, and Illinois have more total offense than we do.

Go for broke and start launching it up. Wait...we need people to block defenders.

Dammit. Nevermind.

Illinois has a better QB than M, but has terrible receivers and no O line. I certainly hope KF doesn't play it close.

if the wind is north-south you have to take advantage of it at your back. yes, run the ball but not into consistent 9 men in the box.

I would love to see a big win but the hawks don't need style points just any win will do. I think both offenses struggle some but if hawk defense repeats last game's results hawks win by 10.
