Predict the BCS Standings

With the craziness surrounding today, let's play a game of predict the BCS Standings. Here is what I've got provided Stanford pulls off a double-digit victory over Cal.

1) LSU 11-0
2) Alabama 10-1
3) Arkansas 10-1
4) Stanford 10-1
5) Virginia Tech 10-1
6) Boise State 9-1
7) Houston 11-0
8) Oklahoma State 10-1
9) Oregon 9-2
10) South Carolina 9-2
11) Oklahoma 8-2
12) Kansas State 9-2
13) Michigan 9-2
14) Georgia 9-2
15) Michigan State 9-2
16) Clemson 9-2
17) Wisconsin 9-2
18) Baylor 7-3
19) Penn State 9-2
20) TCU 9-2
21) Georgia Tech 8-3
22) Virginia 8-3
23) Nebraska 8-3
24) Auburn 7-4
25) Notre Dame 8-3

I think the winners in the polls this week are:

SEC - Top 3 teams
Stanford - This week's alternative to 2 SEC teams re-matching in the BCS championship, but they need Oregon to lose the Civil War so they can win the Pac12
Virginia Tech - A week schedule and lots of other teams going down could leave VT in Stanford's coveted non-SEC spot if Oregon wins the Civil War
Oklahoma State - They may have not won on the field, but any other week a loss at an unranked team would have cost them more than 6 spots

And the losers are:

Oklahoma - Beat Baylor and you are in great shape, but instead the Bedlam game will be for who goes to the Fiesta Bowl
Big Ten - I may be wrong, but I think regardless of some good wins by the top tier, they won't move very far in the polls
BCS - It feels like the BCS is heading towards a SEC match-up which doesn't really help the BCS

BCS should always be the top six SEC teams, the top two big 12 teams, USC, and noter dame.
No other teams should ever be considered.

1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Arkansas
4. Oklahoma State
5. Stanford
6. Virginia Tech
7. Houston
8. Boise State
9. South Carolina
10. Kansas State

After yesterday's craziness, I think the big ten gets two teams into BCS games.

The SEC and B12 can't have too many spots...so....

I think if Mich beats the Ohio State University, every b10 team moves up a slot.

Mich beating tOSU will probably not matter...

After today;
1 LSU
2 Alabama
3 Arkansas
4 Va Tech
5 Oregon
6 Stanford
7 Oklahoma
8 Boise State
9 Houston
10. Oklahoma State

End of season prediction; after Dec 4th.

Oregon lost yesterday but they should win out(O St). Stanford beat USC who beat Oregon but they should win out(ND) OkS lost yesterday and still has to host OU. Clemson lost to NCst. ...Arkansas plays @ LSU. Georgia loses to LSU. Clemson loses @ uSC. Wisconsin wins B1G over MSU. Jumps MSU in polls. .

1. LSU 12-0
2. Alabama 11-1
3. Va Tech 11-1
4. Stanford 11-1
5. Oregon 10-2
6. Houston 12-0
7. Oklahoma
8. Arkansas 10-2
9. Wisconsin 11-2
10. South Carolina 10-2

I would think if Arkansas beats LSU the Hogs would jump Alabama in the polls to become the new #1 and it still sets up a SEC vs SEC champ game.
Bama beat Arkansas already. I don't think Arkansas shoots to the top, but they get their nose in the picture for sure. I am rooting for Arkansas.

i thought it was settled no more rematches of teams in the BCS Championship Games,
Alabama had their shot at LSU and lost, why give them a chance a 2nd time; it proves nothing if they win the 2nd meeting, as i have said in the past "if you can't win your CCG let alone their division" why should they get a shot at the National title, this is not BB where 66 teams get a shot

where do you think the clones will be placed? prolly 11 or 12, right?

they will not be in the top 25.

they'll get a few votes. but they will have to go to norman next week and beat OU if they want a seat at the table

give me a little credit here, I like to think i come across a bit more rational than that!

i thought Oklahoma and OSU end the season or did I mistake the ISU question about a top 25 getting mixed in with who has to go to Norman?

Where is OK St.? You have no clue do you?

I am still holding crossed fingers for Ok St. to make the championship game. I think their offense is the only one in the country capable of putting large scores up on LSU or Alabama...would make for a great NC game.

There should be no way in hell that a team that doesn't even win their division, let alone conference, should be playing for a NC. Bama & Arkansas (assuming they lose) had their chance and couldn't get it done.

If we do see an SEC rematch of some kind (and it's a strong possibility we do) I hope every other major conference's fans boycott the game...simply don't watch, I know I won't. This would send a pretty loud message to those in charge.

Hell, this year you could have both teams in the title game who didn't even play for their conference championship:

1. Arkansas beats LSU
2. BCS rankings become 1.Bama/Ark, 2.Ark/Bama, 3.LSU
3. In either scenario, Bama goes to SEC title game.
4. Georgia beats Bama in SEC title game
5. Arkansas and LSU move up one slot to become #1/#2
6. Immediate rematch for BCS championship even though neither team even played for their conference title.

Oklahoma State is still strong in the computers, but I don't know that they can overtake LSU. Plus they would still need to beat Oklahoma. And do we really want a team in the title game that can't even beat ISU? ;)
