Haha I'm having a hard time waiting as well. Can't believe how big a couple of those freshmen are. Everyone knew CJ was big it's just a little different seeing him next to Iowa guys. I was surprised with Morris. He looks like he could step in and play without his size being much of an issue. Obviously, there is a learning curve but I didn't expect him to be physically ready quite yet but it certainly looks like he is.

I spent 8 years in the Army and when we were in Afghanistan (on an enemy observation outpost) we figured if we slept 12 hours a day our deployment was only half as long. We would be so bored it was a good way to pass the time. We'd get sniper and mortar fire daily but birds would land **** on us more often than one of their shots came close. Most of the time the insurgents would just pay a kid $5 a day to go up on a ridge and fire off a clip just to let us know they were there. They knew it would be a good 20-30 minutes before we could get air support so they'd fire off a clip and disappear before we showed up. They just wanted us to know they were there more than anything. Kind of a mental thing. Sleeping helped pass the time tremendously tho.

I will say, the size of some of the guys is surprising to me. Everyone knew CJ was huge, so I won't go to him. Most surprising were Tillson, Morris, and Ferguson Jr. (Maybe he was in one of the other galleries), but he looked huge. Wehger was in one of the other galleries too, so I think people are on the rumor cycle again.
Morris really surprised me, he looks very similar to Greenway and Humpal. Very good chance he sees special teams play along with Tillson.
I also noticed Christian Kirksey in one of the other galleries, he looked small more like a DB than a LB. Just kind of interesting.
I cannot wait for the Sept 4. One of my favorite things about the first game is grabbing the "Pregame" newspaper with the rosters and try to get acclimated with all the new players on the team and on the field. Just really enjoy it.
