I hope your right but I think we were a solid 7 seed with one bad loss. We now became a team with 2 bad losses. I just have a feeling we are looking at an 8 seed now.
I think they'll end up an 8 and it's just frustrating to have them play so well and close out the season and the 7 seed provided some hope if they could win the first round.
Now, if they win, I don't think there is a 1 seed we can beat.
Maybe we did not play as well as we all thought to end the season..
Reality:
Rutgers: horrible
Illinois: playing really bad to end the season
Indiana: playing really bad to end the season. Still a pretty good road win
Nebraska: horrible
Northwestern: horrible
Penn State: about as average as a power 5 conference team can be & it took overtime for us to beat'em.
Yesterday's version of the Hawks will lose next Thursday/Friday. The team that won the last 6 games of the regular season can still be playing in 2 weeks.
The team that won 6 games to end the season really did not play any NCAA tourney caliber teams in those 6 games. Hard to really have any hope for this team playing against somebody decent.
