We only lost by 9.

I loved the swing passes and wheel routes to the RB, and if Bullock hadn't dropped a couple of them, this might have really opened things up upfield.
Meyer looks very solid and confident out there, Kornbrath hasn't shanked any punts, and we haven't given up any big returns.
No lost fumbles for the 2nd straight game.
VDB seemed more confident this game than last, and put most balls in a catchable spot. I don't recall more than 1-2 sacks--another big positive.
When working, I could sense Davis' offense getting into a rhythm that will be tough to defense in future games--given the screens and wheel routes and so on, we're creating more uncertainty for defenses. I wish we had run out of the shotgun a time or two, but I think that will come with time.
People now realize O'Keefe was a good coach.
More silver lining: CJF is less likely to leave for the NFL this year.
I think Phil Parker is a good coach. ISU looked good on the first 3 possessions on offense, and proceeded to do almost nothing the rest of the game, even with unbelievable field position in the second half.
In fact, ISU had 207 yards and 9 points in the first 3 possessions - finished with 342 yards. In the following 10 possessions, ISU only had 129 yards, no points, 5 3-and-outs, and no drives longer than 42 yards.
I think that shows excellence making adjustments.
We're not ISU fans...
