The OSU WR was a good get. Im pleased to see the staff recognized the shortcomings at WR and (unlike last year) addressed the need via the portal. It also indicates Iowa intends to throw the ball downfield more, which is a reason to be optimistic.

Sometimes it just might come down to a kid not wanting to ride the pine at a blueblood and have a chance to get on the field and have meaningful minutes before they have another body recruited over them. This can go for almost any position on the team, skill position and OL/DL.
