Poll - Iowa State or Nebraska

If Hawks could only win one of these two games, which would you choose?

Tough to answer because Nebraska is a better win.. ISU is a worse loss.. CAN'T lose to the Ketchup & Mustard IMO. Plus they're our in-state rival. State bragging rights, etc. etc. So ISU is my pick.

Love the analogies above though - that's about right, lol.
 
Hmmmmm ........................ which dog turd do I want to pick up and eat??? I guess I would rather lose to Nebraska because they at least have a recognizable brand and losing to them in the eyes of most football fans would be understandable.

since gonorrhea has been treatable for decades with PCN I will take Gonno any day over a nueropathogenic virus that can never be cured.
 
I hate losing to ISU. This is always a no win for Iowa. We win, and it is as it should be. But if we lose, oh boy, ISU fans think someone sliced their bread. And they let us know about it.

Plus, I hate ISU. That is the wrestling fan from the 70s and 80s in me speaking.

Nebby is a conference game, I would always much rather be undefeated or close to it in the Big 10 with a win over Nebby vs the occasional loss to Iowa State.

Look at 2002, the iowa state loss was bad especially the way it played out but 8-0 and a conf championship, awesome, something Iowa state has never approached.
 
I'd rather lose to ISU. Yeah it stings at the time, but winning the B1G West by beating Nebraska would heal that wound.
 
I see Nebraska is in the lead. That would be my choice also. This would be 3 in a row over them and even their biggest loudmouth fans would have a hard time coming up with something after 3 in a row. Also it is the last game (except for a bowl) so their fans would have all offseason to stew on it.
 
Nebraska is a much, much bigger game. The Iowa State game is a joke. No upside at all for Iowa and a humiliating, stupid loss when we lose to them. Iowa State is a total bottom feeder in football. Basketball, of course, is a completely different story....ISU is very strong and any win in basketball over Cy is a "big" win
 
I'll always pick a big conference win over Nebraska. Even if the clowns squeak out a win against us their fans know they really suck no matter how much they talk. Nebby fans are still living in the mid nineties and think they're the top show in college football. To continuously knock them off their pedestal is great. The ISU game in like an annoyance. They're like an annoying little brother because in reality that's all they are is little brother.
 
When we lose to ISU I never hear the end of it. When we win, I don't say shit to isu people. I just smile. I know it drives them crazy.
