San Antonio is a great city. Fun place to go play for a weekend. Of the Texas Bowls, it is probably the only one worth going to for the destination.

I like Delaney. Not in a "have a beer with him" type of way. But in a "has the B1G rolling in pools of $$" type of way.
As for Barta, I don't like him in a "costs us million in lawsuits" type of way.

Jim Delany’s a spineless nut sack just like Barta whose only job is to bend the Big Ten over for Fox and ESPN. Friday football, Early conference basketball games, and Harbaugh sleeping over at 16 year old’s houses are all brought to you by ol’ JD himself.

I want to see his UNC transcripts and make sure he didn't have any of those fake classes. If he provides those and cancels the ACC/BIG challenge in favor of maybe PAC12/BIG challenge, I'd consider keeping him.
I agree, been to San Antonio a few times and it is great place to visit, lots of golf courses that should be playable in late december unless you get one of those weird storms, can drive to the ocean depending on how long you are down there. Mostly great hawks memories from Texas bowl games

You know, I have no intention of going to New York in the winter. Somehow getting mugged in Central Park in the winter doesn't have the same appeal as it does in summer. I don't know, winter just creates this depressive feeling about things.

As far as bending over for TV I would say all the Big teams love the $40 million more they are getting from TV. Main reason Nebby loves the Big 10.
Friday football I agree with you as it should not be, I even hate thursday nite college games. God made fall Saturdays for football, just kidding about God but you know what I mean.
Delaney does need to but a muzzle and some rules on Hargaugh but this is Michigan with a 200,000 alums that turn on their TVs every saturday.
As far as Barta goes, I think the fact the U of I hardly ever wins any sports championships under Barta plus some of the legal issues would be grounds for firing. How is an AD supposed to be judged? Yes Kirk and Fran, Brands and others are good people, they win above average but arent you supposed to win championships????

As I stated when the bowl was announced, the Iowa fans attending this game will mostly be from that part of the country. I'll be interested to see how many show up. I'll take a picture for you.
It'll probably look like one of those sell-outs in Lincoln or Ames.
