Pierre Jackson and Cory Jefferson

I stand corrected. He is not on the mock drafts at this point. Austin is #15, with Jackson and Jefferson in the top 100 prospect lists at #93 and #78 respectively.
Iowa has no one in the top 100.

I don't get this. Dude is beyond soft. I get that he has some skills and some range, but he would get absolutely destroyed in the NBA right now.

Upside.

Baylor's longest winning streak has been 4. Their first 4 games and their last 4 games (NIT). They are woefully inconsistent which i attribute primarily to coaching but some youth is involved, particularly Austin.

How many dunks does White get tonight either in the half court or by getting behind Baylor on the fast break. Given Baylor only had a little over a day to prepare I will go with 4.

I get the upside, but wouldn't they want to see him gain some strength and see what he can do in another year of college? He gets pushed around a lot at the college level and seems to float outside more than he likes to bang inside. Think this will be successful at the next level?

If Marble consistently played like he has these past couple of games and it was against top talent (is the NIT top talent?), then Marble is the answer. However, that has not been the case when looking at his entire body of work, so right now I'd go with Jackson.

i see your case against marble, but you make absolutely no case for jackson. i'll hang up and listen to your answer

Career for Jackson: 17 points 6.5 assists
Career for Marble: 11 points 2.7 assists

Need I say more? Again. I'm not burying Marble as he's been terrific as of late against NIT talent, but, there is not a lot of comparison if you look at total college careers at this point.

Just curious. Is that your attempt at humor? or maybe to prove you r a moron? or maybe both? it's getting old my friend. Kindly go somewhere else if you don't like other's opinions.

I laughed at it, if you're going to post stupid **** like that, at least have a sense of humor about it.

Do those include Jackson's Southern Idaho stats?

Nope. Just Baylor stats according to their website.

Then you shouldn't compare averages because they are not of the same time period. You should really just compare this season's as that is what really matters. They had different developmental paths so take that out of the equation.

NBA teams figure that they have better trainers, nutritionist, coaches and all guys do is play basketball full time. They figure that they will develope a player just fine. If a guy has great talent they will take him now because say he plays better next year and is no loger in a spot where they can draft him. They don't want to miss the opportunity so they take the chance now.

He seems to have some great natural ability which you can not teach. There are not many NBA bigs that just bang down low anymore. He is probably a skilled PF at the next level who can bulk up just improve his jump shot more. He has time to get stonger and develope more low post play as he gets stronger and fills into his body.

Jackson is lightning quick, but I fully expect any athletic advantage Baylor has to be nullified by poor coaching.

Then it begs the question.....With all of this NBA talent on their roster, how did they manage to lose 14 freaking games? Either they aren't that talented, or that talent is selfish, or their coach sucks at managing that talent? Whichever is the case, I like our chances.

Drew has 5 star players, but 1 star coaching ability..

I cannot wait to hear Knights comments on how Drew brought all that talent to Waco. Knight has hammered Drew in the past when he was TT.

Here's some additional/comparative information on Jackson.

Junior Year - 13.8 PPG - 5.9 AST - 3.5 TO - FG% 46.0 - 3% 40.8 - FT% 82.2
Senior Year - 19.9 PPG - 7.0 AST - 3.4 TO - FG% 42.8 - 3% 35.6 - FT% 79.5
