Perrault show???

Okay, there is an easy way to avoid this situation guys. I discovered it around 4 months ago, when I couldn't stand listening to his stuttering problem anymore just to listen to Miller. DON'T LISTEN!!! It just so happens that there is another local show on at the exact same time. So if everyone follows suit, they lose ratings(which I hate to say cause I love KXNO), which means someone gets "moved" from Omaha to DM to somewhere else. Hopefully.

So Matt, who would you like to see as the QB of the Hawkeyes, if you don't trust or believe in Stanzi, the who is the QB?

Oh No I Don't! :) He really struggled this year. I think both teams are stuck in a way. Their starters are the best they've got but would go with someone else if they had a better option but don't.

I listened and I listened good, Matt. Yes you said the question was insulting, but stating Ricky's answer wasn't good, only leads me to believe one of 3 things. 1) You don't fully love your country which is full of freedoms you are privliged to have and are offended by Ricky's answer or 2) you have some odd ax to grind about Ricky Stanzi that you will find anything possible to rip him on or 3) you are in denial that you have an unhealthy man crush on Ricky and you are doing the best you can to convince yourself otherwise. So which one is it Matt?

I'm not having a go at you, I'm just saying that the people on here that are complaning don't have to, there are other local shows to listen to. If they don't like the things you are saying, then don't listen. Your starting to become somewhat of a punching bag on here, and maybe not deservedly so.

He is too inconsistent for me. He looks great at times and then looks totally lost. If he can become smarter with where he puts the ball next year - then they should win the Big 10 and more. This team is too good to give up points when they are on OFFENSE.

I tend to agree with Matt here. I expected more in the mental department from Rick this year, and will certainly expect it next year.

BUT...I think Rick's upside is huge...will write more about that later tonight

I think Iowa's #2 option is quite a bit closer. If Rick starts slow in 2010, there will be another option there...as this spring is a big, big opportunity for James to really move forward in his development.

When Stanzi is on, there's no one better in the B10 and maybe some other BCS conferences as well.

After he went 8/8 in the 1st....I kept hoping they would roll him out and give him a different look. Sometimes I think he gets to complacent in the pocket and starts to overthink. Not that I will complain.....just my $0.02

Rick was very, very good last night. I am not totally convinced the pick 6 shouldn't be on DJK. Otherwise, I questioned a couple throws on 3rd and fairly short (4,5,6). That is it.

Some say he is inconsistent, and statistically he may be. However, there is one very important stat that is most telling - we WINS consistently! That is all that matters. The guy is an absolute winner - no question about it.

While in that area of the field, you need to come back to the ball a bit, I think the throw was late.

But you can't make throws into a bucket like he did to Sandeman, which was one of the best throws made by an Iowa quarterback in two decades, and not have sick skills.

I agree Jon. Also, I thought Rick's footwork and movement in the pocket last night was the best I had ever seen from him. If he continues to improve his footwork, and gains some strength, he will get some looks in the NFL. I have never thought that until last night.

The throw to Sandeman was one of those that I rewatched three times (gotta love rewinding and rewatching live TV)

Yeah, I agree...if VB makes progress between now and next fall the way Stanzi did on JC I think you have to give him a shot.

If I were Iowa Fan I'd just hope that it wouldn't take KF dragging out the contest 4 games into the season this time.
