Perimeter Defense

Great effort last night (as has been the case all season). I am really enjoying this season despite the record.

However, if we are going to improve on the record, we really need to step up our perimeter defense. It is our most glaring weakness at this point.

Really upset because it just looks like they go through lapses in defensive judgment.

Christopherson's dagger was possible because Eric May completely lost where he was on the court. Very similar to Jeff Horner not getting out on Michael Jenkins of NW when he hit the game winning three in OT. Those lapse just can't happen. Iowa has had a lot of them so far this year.

But... they are still improving each game in different areas. There was a point in the first half where it felt like Iowa Basketball was back, if not for a few fleeting minutes.
