Probably more of a thing that's kind of a running joke that they decided to go with publicly. My guess would be that LaPorta is more of a wildcat if he gets in unless it's an emergency. If it's a long term thing, I'd guess there is someone else that would play. Instead of saying they have no confidence in them, I'd hope it's more like they're not ready for it.This is flat out BS. That's death to a program telling players they have exactly no confidence in them enough to put them out there. No coach would do that.
