Yes, and if OSU wins this game, he misses the first half vs LSUBullshit targeting call took out one of tOSU’s best defenders. Questionable PI call allowed the Clemson drive to continue.
I agree about the rule. Kids are playing hard, and the slightest turn leads to helmet to helmet. Need that reviewedis it just me or does the targeting call need to be re-evaluated after the season. I think it is a bad idea for any player to be disqualified for one hit especially in some of these bang, bang plays where you have little to no time to make any adjustments.
Also, when you consider much of it is subjective and it seems like through the year there are so many inconsistencies in how the use is interpreted. Maybe if it a re-occuring issue then disqualification but after one play is just unfair to me especially when you consider they miss a half as well of the next game
I felt the Ohio State player made a clean — certainly hard — hit on the Clemson QB. If anything Lawrence turned and lowered his head to create the contact.I agree about the rule. Kids are playing hard, and the slightest turn leads to helmet to helmet. Need that reviewed
Agree. It may (or may not) be correct according to the rule. If it is correct according to the rule, then it's a BS rule. He caught it. Period. That is a fucking bullshit call
